 #Omicron #OmicronVariant #covid #lockdown #economy #StockMarket . It’s 7:30 pm in Seoul, Nov 30, and everyone’s been talking about the Omicron variant. Meanwhile the economy is spooked. So what should happen next? Should govts prioritize health or markets?

 From last summer. Note mask usage. The infection numbers have doubled since then but are still reasonably good (4000 per day for a population of 51 million). Mask usage on Korean streets is around 99%. My Dad and friend Doug tell me it’s quite different in the streets of Toronto. Both Seoul and Toronto probably have equivalent numbers of vaccinated. Will mask usage make a difference? What’s it like in other cities?

Depuis l'été dernier.  Notez l'utilisation du masque.  Le nombre d'infections a doublé depuis lors, mais reste raisonnablement bon (4 000 par jour pour une population de 51 millions d'habitants).  L'utilisation du masque dans les rues coréennes est d'environ 99%.  Mon père et mon ami Doug me disent que c'est assez différent dans les rues de Toronto.  Séoul et Toronto ont probablement un nombre équivalent de vaccinés.  L'utilisation du masque fera-t-elle une différence ?  Comment ça se passe dans les autres villes ?
