He was admitted to hospital last summer. He’d been weakening for days and the resulting mental confusion paralyzed his decision making. I live far away, but when I told him he had to call 911 he resisted then made the call. A gastric tube is keeping him alive now.

For many people (most) NASA reports of dangerous planetary heating might come as a surprise. For those who follow climatologists and environmentalists, it will not; they’ve been saying the same thing consistently for years. Then why their message not getting through to the former? 


One argument that gets made is media fails. And this is a valid point. But it also sidesteps the messaging of climatologists themselves and how it might resonate more successfully with ordinary people. More thoughts here:
