Synopsis: A hybrid personal documentary/ moviepoem about my wife’s rural roots. The poem is based on an earlier project (entitled Tender as Tea, which appeared in the Baram Series chapbook (link: https://formerpeople.files.wordpress.com/2019/09/baram-series.former-people.shorter.jul_.12.19.may_.31.may_.9.pdf ). The project was shot over a year or so on various cameras. Most of the footage is from the Hadong Jungang Market and the farming area where Suki grew up.
